Dental Treatments

Services

In order to keep our patients' teeth healthy, my goal as a dentist and that of my team is to use preventive care in dentistry (prophylaxis) as the most important tool instead of the drill.

Regular check-ups in conjunction with professional teeth cleaning are intended to effectively prevent the occurrence of tooth damage such as tooth decay, but also diseases of the tooth support system (gingivitis and periodontitis).

In addition, existing restorations (fillings or dentures) must be cared for and protected from renewed attack.

The connection between modern dentistry and human care is our concern. Your well-being and the maintenance of your dental health are our top priority.

The regular participation of the entire team in specialist training courses and the use of modern technologies in diagnostics and therapy are therefore a matter of course for us.

We offer dentures through CEREC

What is CEREC?

  • CEREC is a computer-aided process for the production of all-ceramic inlays, onlays, partial crowns, veneers and crowns.

What advantages does CEREC offer me as a patient compared to laboratory-made dentures?

  • You will have your inlay or crown inserted immediately. You don't need a transitional prosthesis.
  • There are no long waiting times because the inlay is designed directly in the practice and milled out of a prefabricated ceramic block with the help of a grinding machine. This is called CAD / CAM = Computer aided design / Computer aided manufacturing.
  • You don't have to put up with any unpleasant dental casts. An intraoral camera creates a "digital impression" of your teeth. A 3D model is created on the computer.
  • You will receive biocompatible dentures. Ceramic is the material that works best with your body.
  • You will receive highly aesthetic dentures. Of all possible materials, ceramic best mimics natural tooth enamel. Ceramic feels just as smooth in the mouth as your teeth.
  • We use leucite-reinforced glass ceramic and, if necessary, the particularly break-proof lithium disilicate glass ceramic. Thus, we ensure a long-lasting, stable care of your teeth.
  • The dentures are also completely metal-free.

Treatment spectrum

Conservative dentistry

The aim of filling therapy is to repair carious lesions or other types of defects on individual teeth. This is done either by placing direct fillings made of composite or other plastically deformable materials or by integrating indirectly manufactured, precisely fitting inlays made of ceramics, gold alloys or non-precious metal alloys.

Periodontology

This is understood to mean the prevention and systematic treatment of diseases of the periodontium. The tooth-holding apparatus fixes the tooth in the jaw, it ensures that our teeth are stable and remain in their position. It consists of the alveolus (this is the bony compartment in the lower and upper jaw into which the tooth is fitted), the gum, the periodontal membrane (this is the entirety of the fibers with which the tooth is attached in the alveolus) and the Root cement.

Endodontics

Root canal treatment is a measure by which a bacterially infected tooth is preserved with the help of disinfecting and sealing treatment steps and can thus remain in the mouth permanently.

Surgery

Tooth removal, surgical removal of wisdom teeth, root tip resection, etc.

Implantology

Replacement of lost teeth through the surgical insertion of artificial titanium tooth roots in the jawbone.

After a certain healing time, the tooth replacement can then be attached to the implant via a connecting piece (so-called "abutment").

Prosthetics

Aesthetic dentures with partial crowns and crowns. Replacement of lost teeth with fixed bridges or implant crowns. Removable dentures with dentures or combination dentures if several teeth are missing.

Splint therapy for bruxism and CMD

The aim of splint treatment is to reduce parafunctions such as bruxism (teeth grinding or clenching), to harmonize the interaction between the jaw joints and masticatory muscles and to prevent unphysiological tooth contact. Discomfort and pain can be alleviated and, in the best case, completely eliminated.

Correction of minor tooth misalignments

Aligner therapy enables the orthodontic treatment of slight tooth misalignments with removable, invisible plastic splints. Based on the actual condition of the rows of teeth, which is recorded in jaw models, a previously determined treatment goal is displayed in three dimensions and divided into individual treatment phases. For each of these phases, the individual splints, which are worn for around two weeks, are then produced.

Individual prophylaxis for children and adults

Professional teeth cleaning with subsequent polishing and fluoridation of all teeth, including individual advice to improve oral hygiene. In children, staining of plaque, explanation of tooth brushing techniques, tooth brushing exercises, nutritional advice and sealing of the chewing surfaces.

Teeth whitening in just one session

Professional, safe and effective bleaching of natural teeth, so-called "in-office bleaching". A lightening of up to 8 color nuances can be ensured here.

Laser treatment

It can additionally be used for prosthetic, surgical, endodontological and periodontal treatments.

Digital X-ray

Radiation reduced by 90% compared to conventional X-rays, better diagnostics through contrast / brightness changes on the PC, environmentally friendly as no chemicals are required for development.
